I caved...I turned on our AC

I am a wimp...when the temperature in our kitchen hit 86 degrees yesterday, I closed all of the windows and turned on our air conditioner. We made it to June 24 without turning it on. The northeast has had a wet and mild early summer, but it hit the high 80's yesterday and the thermometer hit 90 degrees today.


BUT, my AC has been running constantly so I called for a service appointment. They are coming next week and hopefully it won't be too expensive.


We'll see in a month how our electric bill will be affected.
