This weeks carnival:
Make it from Scratch at Ginger Won't Snap.
My favorite links this week:
Favorite recipe: Pineapple pork chops at Moneywise Moms. This recipe looks very easy and delicious.
Okay I have 2 favorite recipes this week: Apple cake in a skillet from The Pioneer Women.
The Battle between Simple Living and Frugality over at Oil and Garlic. I have this struggle sometimes in my head when I am line drying my clothes, planning our weekly menu and organizing our recycling bins. Wouldn't it just be easier if I threw our clothes into the dryer, ate out more nights a week and threw our recyclables into the trash can? It might be easier, but I would feel incredibly guilty about wasting money and resources. I'll continue along in my ways.
Are you leaving Money behind at the grocery store? at Pay Less for Food. I usually shop with two kids in tow and by the time we are in the check out lane they are usually miserable. I try my best to pay attention to the scanner, but that is not always the case.
Peer to Peer Lending: Lend Money and Invest at The Digerati Life. Interesting concept. I have saved the article to review and research further for our own portfolio.
That is it for this week...have a great weekend.
