I have had a busy week with some summer family commitments. Summer is flying by and I want to make sure we savor it as much as possible. With the temps hovering at 92+ degrees, we are trying to find indoor activities during that sticky 11 am - 3 pm time period. I don't handle the blazing sun too well.
Have you seen my new redesign? It is up and running. Aside from a glitch that a reader told me about, I am very pleased. Thank you to everyone for all of your kind words through comments and emails. I appreciate it.

Some interesting articles this week:
- DIY Fruit and Vegetable Wash at Go Graham Go. Great tip and one that I will start using on our non-organic fruit and vegetables.
- Katie at Kitchen Stewardship wrote a comprehensive post: Natural Sunscreen Review - Do Mineral-Based Sunblocks Work? I am very fair and so is one of my daughters, although we all wear sunscreen. I have always used Coppertone, ever since I was a kid, but now I am going to rethink what we need to use.
- Herbal lemonade at Real Food 365. Skip the Countrytime and go for the gusto.
- If you are a blogger, check out Blogging with Amy. I have her on my reader and she gives great advice, tips and tutorials on blogging.

ReplyDeleteDesign looks great! A fun activity to do indoors which I recently did with a wedding party, was lazer tag. Sound funny right, but it was actually a blast! I have not played laser tag since I was like like 10 haha... There was about 12 of us all running around like crazy shooting each other up, both the guys and girls loved it! Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the link love! :)
