I owe this new look and the migration to Heather at Moritz Fine Designs. She did an awesome job and I love the crisp new look. There was one minor hiccup through out the process, but we worked through it and the migration from Blogger to WordPress was relatively seamless. But I’m so glad that I hired Heather to do the migration for me. It was worth every penny!
I bought the FamilyBalanceSheet.org domain and signed up for Blogger back in October 2008. It seems so long ago; I was the mother of a toddler and an infant. It’s now 2013 and 2 weeks ago that toddler entered 2nd grade and the infant stepped on the bus for the first time to head to Kindergarten.
In the beginning, I posted infrequently. I had a hard time juggling mothering two little ones, managing our home, working part-time from home for my husband, and trying to blog. I don’t know how so many other women do it, but I just couldn’t keep all the balls in the air.
But the past year and a half, I have been able to focus more time on this site. My rhythm gets thwarted regularly by my offline life, but that’s my reality. I’m a busy wife and mother who works part-time outside the home and co-owns a business with my husband. That’s my life.
I also have a passion for managing my family, our home, and our finances. My mission is to help families live well on less. That’s what happens here at Family Balance Sheet.
So I introduce to you the new FamilyBalanceSheet.org, where FAMILY, LIFE & FINANCES meet. I hope you enjoy it.
I am so glad you L.O.V.E. your new design! I think it’s pretty fresh and clean and suits you great!
