Every Friday, I share what we ate for the week on our budget. Currently our monthly budget is $500 for my family of 4.
This Week’s Dinners:
Saturday: We went to a Boy Scout fundraiser dinner.
Sunday: My daughter had a very long swim meet, so we grabbed burritos at a favorite local restaurant.
Monday: Chicken & black bean enchiladas and homemade sugar-free applesauce.
Tuesday: Chicken Broccoli Alfredo from Damn Delicious
Wednesday: It was a beautiful afternoon, so I grilled sausages with pepper & onion hobo pack, roasted hasselback potatoes (in my cast iron skillet) and roasted green beans.
Thursday: Parmesan chicken tenders. roasted asparagus, homemade applesauce.
Friday: Chicken Burrito Bowls – with a rotisserie chicken from Costco.
This Week’s Breakfasts, Lunches & Snacks
For breakfast, we ate oatmeal, eggs & toast, Cheerios with bananas, and green smoothies. For lunches and snacks, we ate leftovers, pb & j sandwiches, apples, oranges, pretzels, yogurt sticks, and cheese sticks.
