Every Friday, I share what we ate for the week on our budget. Currently our monthly budget is $500 for my family of 4.
This Week’s Dinners:
Saturday: Homemade Pizza, homemade sugar-free applesauce
Sunday: Leftovers.
Monday: Whole Chicken in a Crockpot, Hasselback potatoes, green beans
Tuesday: Chicken (leftover from Monday night), sweet potatoes, and black bean quesadillas, orange slices
Wednesday: Pasta with Clams and Fresh Tomatoes, steamed broccoli, garlic bread
Thursday: Easy Chicken Noodle soup (with leftover chicken from Monday and homemade chicken stock), homemade applesauce, garlic bread
Friday: Red Pepper & Feta Turkey Burgers
This Week’s Breakfasts, Lunches & Snacks
For breakfast, we ate bagels, yogurt, and green smoothies. For lunches and snacks, we ate leftovers, pb & j sandwiches, apples, oranges, pretzels, yogurt sticks, and cheese sticks.

No new dishes for us this week. I love that you bake a chicken, make broth, and use the leftovers much like I do.
Thanks for the reminder to make your hasselback potatoes. I really enjoy those but for some reason I forget to make them.
