Every week I share what we ate on our budget. Currently I try to maintain a $500 monthly grocery budget for my family of 4.
This Week’s Dinners:
Saturday: We went out for dinner to celebrate my oldest daughter’s tenth birthday.
Sunday: Dinner was “clean out the fridge so nothing goes bad” night
Monday: Hectic night, so I pulled frozen meatballs and french fries out of the freezer and made Meatball Sandwiches, French Fries, and Steamed Veggies for dinner. I bought the meatballs a few weeks ago when Giant of PA had a “Buy a Brand, Get the Giant Brand FREE” promotion. On crazy nights it’s nice to have this stuff in the freezer.
Tuesday: Cook Once, Eat Twice!! One Pan Roasted Chicken, Potatoes, and Carrots. We had a Sunday dinner on a Tuesday night. It’s so easy to make and I’m going to post a recipe soon.
Wednesday: Chicken, Potatoes, and Carrots leftovers from Tuesday night. I made some rice and steamed some vegetables to add to the meal.
Thursday: To celebrate my husband’s birthday, I made Pasta with Clams and Fresh Tomatoes.
Friday: We’re going to a Spaghetti dinner fundraiser to benefit the Jr ROTC at the high school and then going to the football game. Fun family night.
