As an avid cook, I devour any food related resource that I find….pun intended…

I search cooking magazines, blogs, Facebook pages, Pinterest boards, and websites looking for fresh inspiration for our weekly meal plans or my holiday entertaining menu. I want recipes that have interesting, yet easy to find ingredients and don’t take a ton of time to prep.

As a regular shopper at GIANT Food Stores, I pick up their free Savory magazine every time a new issue is available. It is a glossy food magazine that offers everything I’m looking for and it’s completely FREE. So I was pretty excited when GIANT recently introduced a new iPad app, Savory Cooking App. This app offers a wide variety of recipes with gorgeous photos, quick videos, and the most fun feature of the app, and what sets it apart from others, is the voice-activation to walk the home cook through step-by-step instructions.
