Grilled peaches make an easy and fast dessert to whip up. You will impress your family and dinner guests.

And please don’t deny yourself the pleasure of adding homemade whipped cream on top. Ice cream would taste good too, but the homemade whipped cream makes this simple dessert decadent and amazing.

These directions work also for other stone fruits, such as nectarines and plums.

Ingredients:

  • as many peaches, as you need, halved and pitted, but not too ripe that they fall apart
  • olive or canola oil
  • cinnamon
  • Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe

Instructions:

1. Heat your clean grill.
2. Brush the cut side of each peach with oil.
3. Place peaches cut side down on the grill. My grill was about 400 degrees when I put them on the rack. Close lid and grill for 2 minutes.

4. Turn the peaches over. Close lid and grill for 4 more minutes. My grill hit about 450 degrees at its highest point. After 4 minutes, remove from the grill. The skins of the peaches slid off as I was removing them from the grill.

5. Top with homemade whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.

6. Enjoy what could become your most favorite summer dessert!

Looks delicious, I must admit I only ever grill chicken, pork or dogs most of the time, I’ve never done fruit!

I am following you from Tasty Tuesday. I’ve had grilled peaches at a restaurant but I thought they would be hard to make. Looks like the opposite is true. Thank you so much for sharing! Come on over to my blog and check out how my ingredients are growing. Have a blessed week!

Fresh peaches cooked on the grill…what could be better?!!!

I love grilled fresh pineapple, too. It’s wonderful with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or even a little Greek yogurt. Mmmmm

I’ve never grilled peaches before. I think I might use coconut oil instead of canola or olive oil but otherwise, mm mm! Great dessert idea! I invite you to link up to my Vegetarian Foodie Fridays carnival. Hope to see you there!
