This is the best time of year to buy & eat asparagus, so I take full advantage of the season. The price is usually fairly cheap too as I often find it on sale for $1.49/pound at this time of year.

Thanks for this! I got 2 bunches of asparagus in my last Bountiful Baskets so this was perfectly timed 🙂 I was going to make your Curried Quinoa & Asparagus Salad, but my daughter used my last garbanzo beans to make hummus ;), so I made the Martha Steward Linguine with Asparagus & Egg, instead. Really good 🙂 Thanks! http://bakeoff-flunkie.blogspot.com/2013/04/pasta-with-asparagus-egg.html
You’re welcome, Tiffiny!
Hi Kristia – Thank you so much for mentioning the Asparagus & Basil Pesto! Really appreciate it. Also love the list, you can’t beat asparagus this time of year.
You’re welcome, Tony!
Just wrap it in bacon and put in a moderate oven until bacon is fully cooked. Very easy, very delicious!
I roast a bunch of asaparagus with onions, garlic, olive oil until crispy. Totally worth the extra heat in the kitchen. Can’t wait to try the quinoia salad 🙂
Thanks for the shout out to Virtually Homemade!
Asparagus is also a great option for juicing!

I never thought of it for juicing. Thanks, Tony!
I love asparagus. I pinned this because I bake it the same way every time. I love it but I would love a change once in a while. Thanks!
