31 Days to Find $1000 400X400

Return Unused Purchases

Did you ever see a wall hanging in a store and think, “that would be perfect for my kitchen”? And three months later, it’s still not hung up, it’s sitting in a corner, and you’re not so sure it is perfect for your kitchen?

Did you ever buy a jacket that was the most beautiful color you have ever seen, but when you got home, you realized that it really isn’t that cute?  And it’s still hanging in your closet.

Today, we’re rounding up anything that was bought but never used and we’re returning the items to the stores where it all belongs. Make sure you have the tags and receipts and if you don’t, research the store’s return policy for unused purchases without a receipt. You will likely have to accept a store credit for the current price if you don’t have a receipt.

Rounding up your store returns might not yield too much, but every little bit will help in our effort to find $1000.

Do you have any purchases that you’ve regretted recently? Let us know what you will be returning in the comments.
